PicoLauncher is a game launcher and 'operating system' for handheld consoles that run PICO-8 natively. It seeks to streamline and revamp the PICO-8 gaming experience with features and apps like
- revamped SPLORE
- photo gallery
- music player
- settings/preferences app
- on screen keyboard
- save states (coming soon)
- multiplayer support (coming soon)
PicoLauncher is developed for the PeX Console by PeX Labs, however in the future support may come for other devices. You can check current platform support here.
PicoLauncher is also open source! You can find the code here: https://github.com/pex-labs/picolauncher. Don't hesitate to leave feedback or report bugs!
Note that you do need a copy of PICO-8 to use PicoLauncher, you can purchase a copy here.

finaly. i always searched for an alternative launcher. i would like if you could add themes. maybe the designs could be provided by the community. that would be quiet nice. but good work anyways
